Welcome to My Blog!

My name is Nevaeh Kerkhoven and I am thrilled to welcome you to my blog!

I am currently living in sunny Calgary, Alberta. I am in the third year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology with an embedded certificate in Mental Wellbeing and Resilience.

To tell you a bit about myself, I am a daughter, older sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, friend, student, leader, athlete, and musician. I love being a big sister, rom-coms, reading, music, animals (especially my dog), the outdoors, and volunteering. I adore plants, I have nearly 40!

Some of my interests include sports, wellness, psychology, photography, traveling, singing, and playing my guitar and piano. I enjoy spending my summers camping, hiking, and out at the lake with my extended family.

In the future, I hope to travel more, volunteer in a developing country, own 3 dogs, learn to speak another language, play the bass, and get my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an embedded certificate in Mental Wellbeing and Resilience. Eventually, I plan to pursue a Master's and then a Ph.D. in Psychology. Eventually, I would like to have my own psychology practice where I will offer youth and family counselling and psychoeducational assessments.
